What is Nature Immersion?

What are some of your fondest memories of the natural world? Have you ever just sat and watched an ant wander and wonder where its nest is? Or how many ants that piece of food it’s carrying will feed and if it will even make it there?

For many of us connecting with the natural world is a long way down our ‘to do’ list. When was the last time you enjoyed the sound of a Whipbird calling in the distance? Now, more than ever, it’s time we put ourselves and our health first by slowing down.

Nature immersion is about slowing down enough to really connect with the natural environment. To take it all in through each of our senses. To listen to the bird calling, the sound of the water falling down the cascading waterfall, to smell the essential oils of the forest after it has just rained, to see the vivid green of the Sunshine Coast’s ancient forests.

It’s about spending the time to not only listen to nature but to slow down enough to pay attention to ourselves – our mind and our body. Through this experience we can become aware and gain perspective on our lives. We can begin to just be.

Imagine stepping into a space where it feels cool on your skin, the bright green of the leaves take your immediate attention and the slight smell of the dampness of the rainforest you have just entered. There is a whip bird calling out in the distance and we have slowed down enough to watch a spider spin its web in front of you. I can guide you through an experience where you too can feel like it’s just you and the natural world around you.

Sunshine Coast Nature Immersion

Location matters:
Meet the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is home to some of the most amazing natural environments, from subtropical rainforest to sclerophyll woodlands and bouldering flowing creeks. It’s my job to connect you to these places of beauty.

Please bring an open mind and vulnerability to share as I hold a safe space, one that you can open up to as much or as little as you feel. Some people like to leave all their worries right here with them. Most people can’t wait to plan another walk as soon as they get home

I know from experience that I can feel different after spending time in nature and I want to show you how you can have that too.
